Care

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fibre.

Wet hats should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Do not place a felt hat on a radiator as the heat will shrink the fibres and cause your hat to decrease in size.

Felt hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Materials

Crafted from 100% rabbit fur felt. The Haydock Navy fedora is a smart and practical alternative to hats made from more traditional racing felts such as the Sandown and Wetherby trilbies. With a grosgrain band, this medium-weight hat is unlined and has a fabric sweatband for a comfortable fit.

Styling & Fitting

This hat is unlined with a fabric headband for a snug fit. The fedora’s soft brim allows for a variety of styling options, including completely angled down, turned up, or, most commonly, up in the back and down in the front, creating the elegant and time-honoured “wave” shape.

The Haydock Fedora is also available in green, brown and black.
