Diptyque has always drawn inspiration from nature, whether wild or shaped by human hands. The enchantment of the natural world continues to fascinate and blooms creativity.

Bois Corsé is a tribute to bark, the vital protective mantle that shields a tree from the elements. With exposure, it gradually takes shape, developing textured reliefs that are coarse and irregular, yet pleasing to the touch. Combining the work of perfumer Nathalie Cetto and her collaborator Olivier Pescheux with the drawings of Nigel Peake, this olfactory-visual composition is a tribute to nature’s raw and resilient cocoon.

Bois Corsé is a grounding force of Les Essences de Diptyque (The Essences of Diptyque), a collection that reimagines the unscented elements of nature through a blend of realism and fantasy. Delicate and surreal, the six compositions in this collection are the product of harmony between the perfumer’s nose and the hand of the artist. Each creation celebrates one of nature’s treasures, reimagining it in fragrance and illustration. Revealed in all their beauty, these phenomena invite us to pause and admire them.
